Back from Break with a Fundraiser Announcement

Project Pie in Dallas

For all of my 2 readers, just kidding, you may have noticed I have missed quite a few postings, a December giveaway and generally fell off the face of the planet. For those that know me, December is quite busy in my household. We have to birthdays coming off of Thanksgiving right into Christmas, followed by my favorite holiday, New Year’s Eve. In addition to that, we have decided to move to the burbs and build a Landon Home in the Richwoods neighborhood of Frisco. I will be documenting the process from start to finish in the coming months, but bear with me on postings this month as I’m exhausted.

BUT the show must go on

Dallas Project Pie

As my first official news coming back from break, I’d like to let evryone know about a wonderful and afordable fundraiser coming up Thursday, December 11th. The Dallas Project Pie will be hosting a special event as part of their Project: Be The Change initiative. Half of the day’s proceeds will go to local Dallas Charity, Kidd’s Kids. We want to maximize the amount of money raised for this organization because they do so much to bring happiness to sick and disabled children. It’s truly incredible work and Project Pie wants to give back to the community by helping them continue their important mission.

This is really important to note: Project Pie’s President and CEO, James Markham, is adamant about this not as a marketing stunt, it’s just the right thing to do. We just want to pack the restaurant on that day so we can write a FAT check to Kidd’s Kids!
